Softsolution VirtualDigitizing 18.1
The new VirtualDigitizing 18.1 is a software application which provides fast and flexible digitisation solutions for the glass industry without a digitisation table. The software, with the help of a calibrated digital camera and a reference measure, is able to digitise any template, pattern or object in less than 5 minutes. It generates a high-precision, accurate DXF file which can be sent to all types of CNC cutting machinery.
The template to be digitised is photographed, including four reference points which form the basis for the exact calculation of the template. Plexiglass plates as well as standard paper sizes can be used to provide the scale. The digital image can then be opened in the software and template edges, as well as optional drill holes or cut-outs, can be defined manually or automatically. Automatic contour smoothing means that no further editing is required before cutting.
