Tremco JS680
JS680 is a one-component polyisobutylene-based sealant, specially developed for the manufacture of insulated glass units. JS680 functions as the inner barrier or primary seal in dual-seal systems and should be used in conjunction with a secondary sealant of either polysulphide, polyurethane, hot melt butyl or silicone. JS680 is not suitable for the construction of IG units with flexible spacers.

JS680 is specially formulated to provide an inner barrier to moisture and gas in the design of insulating glass units. The compatibility of JS680 is warranted with Tremco secondary sealants such as JS334, JS562 or JS442 MF but should be tested for other sealants. JS680 can be applied with an extrusion machine such as the GMS 700N at a temperature of +110°C to +130°C depending on the desired pressure and extrusion speed.
