Macotec Dynamic Series Glass Storage, Handling & Loading System
The Dynamic Series automatically loads float glass sheets of various sizes from the glass racks or storage system and transfers them to one or more cutting lines, as well as returns remnants to the racks. The series comprises an overhead gantry with crane, vertical glass racks with motorised drawers, and a shuttle system with an automatic glass loader.
The automation of the dynamic crane is managed using the latest PC-based control technology which, combining the flexibility and performance of PCs with the robustness and stability of PLCs, allows the plant to achieve high performance, complete safety and reliability. Dynamic Supervisor software ensures maximum efficiency and productivity of the series. It allows easy management and control of data and the synchronisation between the glass storage system, loading system and cutting line.
