Tekna TKE 944
The TKE 944 is a 4-axis CNC machining centre for drilling, milling and threading of aluminium, light alloy or steel profiles. The automatic tool storage magazine is available with 4 or 8 places as a fixed solution on the machine or with 12 places installed on the mobile gantry. The electrospindle rotates from 0° to 180° to enable machining on 3 sides of the workpiece without it being repositioned.

The workpiece is positioned with pneumatic reference plates and held securely in place by between 4 and 16 (optional) clamps. The machine allows operation in double mode (7000 model only) which makes it possible to load and unload workpieces and automatically position clamps in “concealed” time. It is also possible to use multipiece mode which allows loading and consequent machining of different workpieces between the two work areas.
