Tekna TKE 551
The TKE 551 is a double-head, horizontal blade saw, with 550mm ø blades, for cutting aluminium and steel profiles in various thicknesses and at different angles. It is fitted with two cutting heads, which can be pneumatically tilted from 90° to 22°30’ with mechanical control of intermediate angles. The machine has a single axis with numerical control for automatic movement of the mobile cutting head.

The advanced control panel comprises a touch screen interface and utilises customised software containing bespoke features developed specifically for the machine. It allows correct mobile head positioning in accordance with the required cutting schedule. The machining cycle is optimised by the creation of the cutting lists which allows reduction of waste as well as a decrease in workpiece loading and unloading times.
