Sivlite™ Desiccant
Sivlite™ Desiccant is a high-performance molecular sieve 3A with the capacity to adsorb moisture or organics residing within an insulated glass unit. The desiccant maintains a transparent, moisture-free double glazed unit even at extremely low outside temperatures.
Bead Sizes: 0.5-0.9mm & 1.0-1.5mm
Packaging: 25kg boxes
In both air and gas-filled double glazed units, the legs of rigid, tube spacer frames are filled with an adsorbent such as molecular sieve. A spacer frame is typically filled with desiccant in two to four of its legs with either automatic or manual dispensing equipment.
